With Cobrapost's recent revelations the public is stunned though it shouldn't come as a shock as many people saw it coming already. The elections are nearing and let's be very honest, we haven't got many things sorted. The mindset of people at large is highly prone to be manipulated by various public figures who we have considered as the social influencers. The people in the game of politics know what they have got to do in order to get you to vote for them. The so-called social influencers know what they have got to do in order to earn more money.
The names like Jackie Shroff, Mahima Chaudhary, Sunny Leone, Kailash Kher, Rajpal Yadav, Raju Srivastava, Shakti Kapoor, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, and many others were caught in live action in front of camera demanding money for posting a few well-organized stories in their own language so as to be able to brainwash all of us and make us fall for the agenda they were probably supposed to promote.
The stars were ready to take a whooping sum of even INR 1 Cr. per month for these tweets, Instagram posts, and other posts. The basic idea was to be like the secret brand ambassadors of various political parties and endorse them in a completely indirect way.
The problem is that political parties or their campaigns are not products that a person who gets influenced can buy and then try. These things are good as far as they are only confined to commodities and services. Because even if a person doesn't get a sense of satisfaction he/she can refrain from again using that product only at the cost of a little money. But when we take this picture into consideration the scenario looks way more appalling and pathetic to be even considered. The price one is about to pay can be priceless and moreover, it is kind of the same thing that the terrorist organizations do. They brainwash people into believing the ideologies that they want to spread.
